Chunrong Ni, originally from Shanghai, China, majored in computer science, and then turned to research on Bible and Assyriology. He wrote his MA thesis in the Hebrew University about Akkadian royal rituals from the first millennium BCE. He is now writing his PhD on Akkadian cultic commentaries in the first millennium BCE. In addition, he is writing an Android application containing various crucial Assyriological dictionaries and sign lists and an Akkadian input method (including a handwriting system).
